#Meet the Team

The People Behind Hope, Hearts & Heroes

At Hope, Hearts & Heroes, our events are about more than tables, vendors, and schedules. They’re about people helping people, building connections, and creating meaningful experiences for seniors and veterans throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Meet the team that brings heart, care, and a little Aloha to everything we do!

Deja — Aloha Table

Originally from Nānākuli, Hawaiʻi, Deja has called Las Vegas home for six years. She’s often the welcoming smile you’ll see at our welcome table, greeting guests and helping them feel right at home.

Family and friends bring her joy, and her mom is her biggest role model. Deja brings plenty of Aloha wherever she goes!

Kimmie — Aloha Table

Kimmie is a true people person who loves bringing people together. Her love language is serving, and she especially enjoys being there for our veterans and kūpuna.

You’ll find her welcoming guests at the front table and helping make sure everyone feels the genuine love and Aloha that are at the heart of our events.

Kat — Sales

Kat is our sales superstar, with a genuine love for meeting new people and hearing their stories. She believes that helping our community—even one person at a time—can make a difference.

When she’s not working, you might find Kat cooking or creating beautiful pressed-flower collages.

Yasen — Office & Sales Manager

Yasen helps keep things moving behind the scenes as our Office & Sales Manager. He has called Las Vegas home since first grade and has a lifelong passion for sailing. He even raced catamarans with his grandfather!

Seniors and veterans hold a special place in Yasen’s heart, and his grandfather remains one of his biggest role models.

Tim & Lynn — Founders

We’re Tim and Lynn, both originally from Wheeling, Illinois. Although we attended the same schools and knew many of the same people, we actually met right here in Las Vegas more than 25 years ago.

Today, we’re blessed with three children, three grandchildren, two dogs, two cats, and a whole lot of love for our community.

Our family’s connection to service is an important part of why this work means so much to us. Our son proudly serves in the military as a combat medic. Our oldest daughter is an amazing stay-at-home mom to her little girls, and our youngest daughter is a college student balancing school and cheer while working toward becoming a sonographer. We couldn’t be prouder of all three.

For Tim, seeing seniors and veterans having fun, connecting with others, and enjoying themselves is one of the biggest reasons he loves this work. It’s also at the heart of why he founded Hope, Hearts & Heroes.

For Lynn, it’s about making a difference for everyone in our community. As she gets closer to becoming a senior herself, and as a caregiver and the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran, she understands how important access to resources, connection, fun, and meaningful activities can be. Helping bring those experiences to seniors and veterans is incredibly fulfilling.

A Team That Feels Like Family

We work hard. We laugh a lot. We help each other. And somewhere along the way, we became more like family.

We’re grateful for every member of our team and for the opportunity to serve seniors, veterans, and our community with heart.
